Why is Cleantech Scandinavia needed?
In response to the growing need for sustainable means of production and consumption, creative and skilled people are generating innovative solutions to solve environmental problems in a profitable way. Both to make sure that the Nordic region remains at the forefront of sustainability questions, and to maximise the economic growth and job creation potential of cleantech, it is of primary importance that Nordic investors seize the numerous profitable opportunities in the cleantech sector. There is therefore a clear knowledge and network related need to accelerate investments in cleantech and maximise the sector’s growth potential.

Segment analysis
This consists of an exclusive analysis of a cleantech segment from a Nordic or national perspective. It includes an overview of the market, with key aspects such as drivers, stage of maturity, type of actors, exit opportunities, and a round up of the Nordic companies active in that particular segment.

Cleantech Introduction
In a cleantech introduction, a Cleantech Scandinavia professional sits down with one or more participants and presents an updated and comprehensive overview of the Nordic cleantech landscape. The session typically includes the latest dealflow statistics, cleantech segment descriptions, geographical differences, upcoming trends and developments. This service has been conducted with satisfactory results for investment professionals as well as industrial companies.

Second opinion
After collecting extensive feedback from cleantech investors and companies we have developed a methodology to screen cleantech investment opportunities. It consists of a set of key questions, which, put together, describe key characteristics of a company's team, technology, market and business development aspects that are of interest to potential investors. Cleantech Scandinavia's staff interprets the information and external opinions are sought to provide insights into the market and the technologybeing evaluated. This service should be seen as a first step towards a due diligence process, providing decision making support as well as highlighting key areas that demand further attention. "Second Opinion" is delivered as a written document as well as a presentation session with questions and answers.
