Description
Cleantech Scandinavia is a Nordic membership network of investors and a consultancy in the field of cleantech. Our activities include in particular the provision of deal flow statistics and business intelligence reports, the organisation of conferences and workshops, the provision of investment opportunities as well as customer specific assignments. We mainly work with/for investors (venture capital, industrial, individual, and public), cleantech start-up and growth companies, as well as innovation incubators and science parks. Depending on individual qualifications, new employees would typically be involved in fulfilling some of the following tasks:
- Data collection on cleantech investments in the Nordic countries
- Empirical research on various topics related to latest trends in cleantech innovation
- Preparation and drafting of reports for our members and individual clients
- Management of our database of cleantech companies
- Coordination in the organisation of our conferences and workshops
- Participation in, and presentation at conferences Cleantech Scandinavia gets invited to
- Establishment of partnerships with international actors in cleantech innovation
- Sales of our services and membership offering in the Nordics and internationally
Desired qualifications and personal qualities
- University degree in Environmental Science/Management and/or Business Administration
- Relational skills; able to listen as well as present
- Proficiency in English and one (preferably more) Nordic languages
- Some work experience in the environmental and/or financial sectors
- Strong interest for innovation in the field of environmental technology
- Knowledge of venture capital funding is an advantage
- Advanced analytical and report drafting skills
- Ability to work independently within a small team
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Proactiveness in creating new business opportunities
