We are very glad to welcome BASF Venture Capital as a member to Cleantech Scandinavia! As a venture arm of the BASF Group, it invests globally into start-up companies driving chemical innovation, as well as in venture funds.
BASF Venture Capital has a strong focus on cleaner technologies and has a number of cleantech companies in their portfolio. Apart from the capital, BASF Venture Capital as an investor brings in a worldwide research and knowledge base of the BASF Group to support the company's development. Membership in Cleantech Scandinavia is a sign of a profound interest BASF has in the Nordic market, and we hope to be seeing some Nordic investments in the coming year!
