We are glad to welcome a new member to the network, the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth – Tillväxtverket. It is a public agency under the Swedish Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communication (Näringsdepartementet).
Tillväxtverket's activities are directed towards supporting enterprise development and sustainable economic growth in all Swedish regions. Special attention is paid to facilitating start of new businesses. Cleantech is one of the special focus areas, and the Agency has a number of programmes to support cleantech entrepreneurs. Tillväxtverket has also been a partner to Nordic Cleantech Open competition from its start in 2010.
