We are glad to welcome a new UK-based member, The Carbon Trust, a not-for-profit company with the mission to accelerate the move to a low carbon economy.
Carbon Trust provides specialist support to help business and the public sector cut carbon emissions, save energy and commercialise low carbon technologies.
Trough a number of Technology Accelerators, Carbon Trust aims to accelerate deployment of technology sectors that are on a path towards full commercialisation but where there are significant barriers to uptake. Among focus areas are Industrial Energy Efficiency, Offshore Windpower, Marine Renewables and Biomass Heating. Carbon Trust has also given support to a Swedish wave energy company Minesto during 2010. We look forward to cooperation!
